Nonprofits awarded TeamPaint workshops

Four nonprofit agencies will have the opportunity to take part in innovative team building workshops during 2017 thanks to Omaha-based TeamPaint which is awarding the complimentary workshops.

Recipients include:

· Nebraska Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence

· Planned Parenthood of the Heartland

· Project Harmony

· Grief's Journey (formerly Ted. E. Bear Hollow)

“Making the world a better place through creativity and connections, and team building workshops is at the heart of TeamPaint/B.Todd.Arts, with 10% of all profits given back to the community through complimentary workshops, art donations and cash donations,” says TeamPaint founder Beverly Todd.

Through the workshops we help build high-performing teams, which are critical for the success of businesses as well as nonprofit agencies,” says Todd. “We are excited to help nonprofits implement this critical piece of organizational development."

Todd, who launched TeamPaint three years ago, has more than 25 years experience in executive leadership with nonprofit corporations in Nebraska. She also is a contemporary artist, with work hanging in businesses and homes across the U.S. and Canada.

“TeamPaint is not your usual kum ba yah,” says Todd. “It’s igniting your team using arts-based learning. It’s not about making art, but learning through the experience of art. As teams paint together they think strategically, build bonds, open communications, find shared values, shift perceptions, think inventively, take risks, and celebrate shared success.”

The two-hour TeamPaint workshop includes hands-on group painting with discussion as teams share what they learn about themselves and their teammates.
